ACC Football Teams 2026: Every Program Ranked
The ACC looks almost unrecognizable from a decade ago. Eighteen schools, a Notre Dame team finally playing a full conference slate, and programs stretching from Boston to the Bay Area. We ranked all 18 based on where they stand heading into 2026: roster talent, recent history, coaching stability and just how scary they are on a Saturday.
Fans argue about plenty of this, especially the muddy middle of the conference. We picked sides where we had to. Disagree? That's what the comments are for, rank them yourself and tell us where we got it wrong.

How we ranked them
We weighed recent on-field results, roster and coaching situations heading into 2026, program trajectory, and how each team stacks up against the rest of a newly reshaped 18-team league. Historical brand strength matters some, but this is about where teams actually sit right now, not where they used to be. We leaned on fan consensus from forums and conference chatter, then made calls ourselves where the arguments split.
