Copyright Policy

We respect the rights of creators and respond quickly to valid notices of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Sending a takedown notice

Send a notice to our designated agent (below), or through our Contact page or hello@rankparade.com, that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • The copyrighted work you believe is infringed
  • The exact URL of the material, such as the shared list link or the page with the image
  • Your name, address, phone number and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner

What we do

When we receive a valid notice we remove or disable the material, notify the person who uploaded it, and keep a record of the case. We may block removed images from being uploaded again.

Counter notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter notice with your signature, the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court. We forward it to the person who made the original notice and restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have filed a lawsuit.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid notices are suspended or closed.
